TENOM

Native token on MONET Hub

WHAT IS TENOM?

Tenom token will be used as a mean of transacting on ad hoc blockchains and Monet Hub; as a reward to validators for securing Monet Hub; and to participate in Monet Hub governance and to determine the weight of an individual validator decisions in the voting. The token will have the full functionality immediately after the ICO, when Monet Hub becomes live and token becomes transferable.

TENOM TOKEN:

Native (not ERC)

Tenom token is a native token on Monet Hub (not ERC20)

Hybrid (payment/utility)

Tenom token is a hybrid (payment/utility)

We believe that the tenom Token is to be classified as hybrid (payment/utility), as it both provides access digitally to an application or service by means of a blockchainbased infrastructure and is used as a means of money or value transfer.

In fact, temporary ad hoc blockchains developed within Monet Hub do not issue their own token. The tenom Token is the only token accepted when an ad hoc blockchain needs to interact with Monet Hub. In addition, the tenom Token allows its user to participate in Monet Hub governance and to determine the weight of an individual validator decisions in the voting.

At the same time, tenom Tokens are accepted as a reward to validators for securing Monet Hub; thus, much as bitcoin, and, in general, other native tokens, tenom Tokens are used as a means of money or value transfer to validators (miners).
